In this series of 8 yoga classes we will honour the ancient Indian tradition through the practice of asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and dhyana (meditation). With each class building upon itself, we will attempt to purify the body, develop a steady mind and stimulate our inner awareness which in turn helps to bring along vigour, flexibility, strength and release mental tension.

Classes are suitable to all levels, postures are taught in a safe and gentle manner. We will adopt an attitude free of any competitiveness and judgement: we begin where we are, how we are and whatever happens, happens. In this practice, the invitation is to pay careful attention to what’s going on in our body; this constant observation will enable us to discover something new about ourselves.
