Join us this October for our Autumn Cooking Intensive with Mutsuko Johnson and immerse yourself in traditional wholefoods cooking with a true master of Japanese cuisine.
In this week long series of classes you will learn everyday techniques, practise ancient recipes and be sure to gain all the confidence you need to enjoy Japanese cooking at home. You’ll make your own miso, craft teriyaki dishes from scratch and create street food dishes likes Okonomiyaki. Mutsuko will also introduce and contextualise specialised Japanese ingredients like seaweeds, bonito, miso, shiitake, kuzu and much more.
Mutsuko has been teaching balanced wholefoods cooking for over 40 years and she continues to inspire with her commitment to nature, community and cooking for joy, celebration and healing.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced cook, if you are looking for vegan culinary inspiration, to introduce Japanese recipes in your home cooking, or to take on Mutsuko’s delightful passion for food, this course will take your cooking to another level.
Designed as 8 classes over 6 days, each in manageable sessions, we will cook together and eat together afterwards.
